Feeding Instructions
Your cat's food requirements may vary from the feeding guide due to age, breed, environment, activity level, and body condition. Adjust food quantities as necessary to maintain optimal body weight. During the last three weeks of pregnancy and while nursing, mothers will require two to three times their normal daily food intake. If your cat has been spayed or neutered the amount of food fed should be reduced by 25% to account for their lower metabolism.
When feeding Performatrin Ultra Limited Potato & Salmon Formula Cat Food for the first time, a gradual change from your cat's current food will minimize digestive upset. Mix 1/4 part Performatrin Ultra Limited Potato & Salmon Formula Cat Food with 3/4 parts of your current cat food for 2-3 days. Over the next 5-10 days, gradually increase the proportion of Performatrin Ultra Limited Potato & Salmon Formula Cat Food and decrease that of your current cat food until you are exclusively feeding Performatrin Ultra Limited Potato & Salmon Formula Cat Food.
